We do not use your personal data for automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on you.
6. Legal bases for processing
Where the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or similar laws apply, we process personal data using one or more of the following legal bases:
7. Service providers and processors
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data.
We use carefully selected service providers to help us operate the website. They process personal data on our behalf, only as needed to provide their services to us, under data processing terms that oblige them to protect it.
| Provider | Purpose | Data involved |
|---|---|---|
| Hostinger | Website hosting, storage, backups, security, technical operation | Website files, databases, server logs, technical data, and account, order and support data stored on our systems |
| Anthropic (Claude) | The AI model that powers our AI assistants | Your chat messages and the context described in section 10 |
| Google Analytics (Google) | Website statistics and usage analytics, only after you consent | Analytics identifiers, device/browser data, pages visited, approximate location, interaction data |
| Google reCAPTCHA (Google) | Protecting our forms against spam and abuse | IP address, browser and device data, interaction with the form |
| CookieYes | Cookie banner and consent management | Your cookie choices, consent ID, date of consent, anonymised IP address |
| 2Checkout / Verifone | Payment processing, invoice handling, order management, fraud prevention | Billing and transaction data required to complete and document purchases |
| Newsletter service provider | Sending newsletters to subscribers (we will name the provider here before we start) | Email address, subscription status, consent records, email interaction data |
We may also disclose personal data if required by law, court order, regulatory request, or where necessary to protect our rights, users, systems, property, or safety.
8. Payments and invoicing
Payments for Tabulizer products, memberships, licenses, or related services are processed by 2Checkout / Verifone or its related payment-processing services.
We do not store full credit card details on our own servers. Payment information is handled by the payment processor. We may receive and store order-related information such as your name, email address, billing information, purchased product, invoice number, transaction reference, payment status, tax information, and related customer service records.
We use this information to process your order, provide access to downloads or memberships, issue invoices, handle refunds, respond to support requests, prevent fraud, and comply with legal, accounting, and tax obligations.
10. AI assistants
Tabulizer.com offers two AI assistants. Both are powered by Claude, an AI model provided by Anthropic.
What is sent to Anthropic. To generate a reply, we send Anthropic your messages and the conversation so far, together with our instructions and documentation. For the support assistant we also send account context: your name and username, your registration date, your membership status, the subjects and status of your recent support tickets, and short summaries of your earlier conversations with the assistant. When you ask about a specific ticket, its messages are sent too (internal staff notes are never included). We do not send your email address, password, or payment details.
How Anthropic handles it. Anthropic processes this data as our service provider through its commercial API. Under its commercial terms, Anthropic does not use data sent through the API to train its models, and keeps it only for a limited period for purposes such as abuse monitoring, as described in its own privacy and data processing terms.
What we store. We store your conversations on our own servers so that you can return to them and so that we can review the quality of the answers. When a conversation ends, a short summary may be created and used as context in your next conversation with the support assistant. For the pre-sales assistant, conversations are linked to a random visitor ID kept in your browser session rather than to your identity, and we keep a hashed form of your IP address to apply fair-use limits.
11. Analytics, cookies, and similar technologies
Tabulizer.com uses cookies and similar technologies to make the website work, remember your preferences, improve security, and, if you allow it, understand how visitors use the website.
We use Google Analytics to collect website statistics: which pages are visited, how visitors navigate the website, and which content is useful. Google Analytics is loaded only after you accept analytics cookies in our cookie banner. If you reject them, or make no choice, Google Analytics does not run and no analytics cookies are set. Google Analytics does not store full IP addresses, and we do not use its advertising features.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the cookie settings button shown on every page. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that took place before.
For the full list of cookies used by Tabulizer.com, please refer to our Cookies Policy.
12. How long we keep personal data
We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.
| Data type | Typical retention approach |
|---|---|
| Account and membership data | Kept while the account or membership is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for support, records, and legal purposes. |
| Order, invoice, and payment records | Kept as required for accounting and tax purposes (under Estonian law, accounting records are kept for 7 years). |
| Support messages | Kept for as long as needed to resolve the request and maintain a reasonable support history. |
| AI assistant conversations | Kept for as long as needed to provide the service and a reasonable support history, or until you ask us to delete them. Wizard drafts prepared by the assistant are deleted automatically after 30 days. |
| Newsletter data | Kept until you unsubscribe or request deletion; after that, only your email address on a suppression list. |
| Technical logs | Kept for a limited period needed for security, troubleshooting, and abuse prevention. |
| Analytics data | Kept in Google Analytics for 14 months, after which it is deleted automatically. |
| Cookie consent records | Kept for up to 12 months, after which we ask for your choice again. |
When personal data is no longer needed, we will delete it, anonymise it, or securely retain it only where legally required.
13. How we protect your data
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
- Access to personal data is limited to those who need it for legitimate business purposes.
- Payment data is processed through a dedicated payment processor and full card details are not stored on our servers.
- Data transmitted through the website is protected by encrypted (HTTPS) connections.
- We use security controls, hosting protections, and technical safeguards appropriate for the website and services.
14. Your privacy rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have certain rights regarding your personal data.
To exercise your rights, contact us at info@alterora.com. We may ask you to verify your identity before responding. We respond to valid requests within one month, as required by the GDPR.
Our lead supervisory authority is the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon), Tatari 39, 10134 Tallinn, Estonia, www.aki.ee. If you are located in the European Economic Area, you may also complain to the data protection authority in the country where you live or work.
15. Children’s privacy
Tabulizer.com and Tabulizer products are intended for website owners, administrators, developers, businesses, and professional users. We do not knowingly market to or collect personal data from children.
If you believe that a child has provided us with personal data without appropriate parental or guardian consent, please contact us at info@alterora.com so that we can take appropriate action.
16. International data transfers
Some of our service providers process personal data outside the European Economic Area. In particular, Anthropic and Google process data in the United States, and our payment processor may process data in other countries.
Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework for certified providers, the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses included in the providers' data processing terms, adequacy decisions, or other lawful transfer mechanisms.
17. Third-party links
Tabulizer.com may contain links to third-party websites, documentation, payment pages, support resources, integrations, or external services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of third-party websites.
We recommend reviewing the privacy policy of any third-party website or service before providing personal data to it.
18. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, service providers, website functionality, or data processing practices.
When we update this policy, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Significant changes may also be communicated through the website or by email where appropriate.
