RSS Feed with Custom Data Transformation

Tabulizer can use an RSS feed as a dynamic data source and transform the retrieved data before it is displayed. In this example, Tabulizer reads the BBC News RSS feed and then applies a custom modification function to reshape the original feed data into the desired presentation format. Modification functions are a powerful Tabulizer feature because they allow you to process the complete data set before rendering it. They can be used to reorganize fields, combine or remove values, generate custom HTML, change the structure of the data, or transform a standard table-like data source into a completely different layout. This makes it possible to use structured data sources such as RSS feeds while having full control over how the final content is presented to the visitor.
