Numeric precision in Microsoft Excel: Issues and how to resolve them

Microsoft Excel, as well other spreadsheet solutions, works only to limited accuracy because it retains only a certain number of figures to describe numbers.

As a result, sometimes when numbers are imported by Tabulizer they appear with a long list of decimal digits.

This inaccuracy usually is not visible on the Excel sheet, but becomes visible in the generated table.

The resolution is to use a rounding method by adding the appropriate rule in the ruleset you have selected to generate the table.
In most cases, the easiest method is to use the round modification function, as shown in the figure below:
